Authorities are now hunting a computer store manager who allegedly stabbed a customer to death after having a heated argument due to a receipt that the customer failed to present.
According to reports, the stabbing incident occurred at the PC Home Service Center store located on the 5th floor of SM North Edsa Annex on the evening of April 5, 2018.
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) is now locating the store manager Leo Laab who killed the 56-year-old customer identified as Geroldo Ramon Querijero.
Based on initial investigation, Querijero had his laptop repaired at the said store, but when it was his turn to claim the item, he was not able to present the receipt or job order that was issued to him when he left it in the store.
Because of this, Laab refused to release the laptop to the customer leading the two to have a heated argument.
Itong ating biktima allegedly kinukuha niya ‘yung laptop niya na pinagawa doon sa tindahan pero noong wala siyang maiprisinta na resibo or job order ayaw ibigay sakanya nitong si Laab na store manager kaya doon na sila nagkainitan,” QCPD director Guillermo Eleazar said.
The officer added that the customer left the store but went back after a few minutes and allegedly threw a punch at Laab. In return, the store manage threw bottled water, pulled a knife and stab Querijero for several times.
The victim, who gained eight stab wounds, was rushed to the JP Sioson General Hospital but he did not make it and was declared dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, when the stabbing incident went viral on social media, a netizen shared that the customer allegedly cursed the manager and was very arrogant during the confrontation.
